An hourly figure can look reassuringly simple. It is less useful when you discover that the helicopter must first reach your departure point, wait through a meeting and return to its base afterwards. Ask what the whole request costs, not just what one flying hour costs.
Why we are not publishing an unsupported starting price
Publicly circulated prices may describe different years, aircraft, countries or trip assumptions. Some are ownership operating costs rather than charter selling prices. They should not be presented as current RentJet offers.

The components behind the total
Flight time covers the requested journey, but the quoted flying may also include positioning to your departure point and an empty return. Ask which sectors you are paying for and whether a minimum charge applies.
Waiting, crew arrangements, landing and handling, permits where applicable, taxes and requested extras can change the total. Confirm each item’s inclusion or exclusion in writing rather than assuming it from the headline rate.
Compare two versions of the same trip
Imagine travelling to a site for a meeting and returning later that day. One proposal keeps the helicopter nearby; another returns it to base and sends it back for pickup. The cheaper-looking outbound sector may not produce the lower total.
Ask both operators to price the same date, passenger load, locations and return time. Compare the full itinerary and terms. This is a comparison example, not a fare estimate.
Naira, foreign-currency quotes and changes
Ask which currency the contract uses, how any naira conversion is determined and when payment is due. A converted planning amount does not fix an exchange rate for a future payment.
