THE SHORT ANSWER

How do I charter a helicopter in Nigeria?

Start with your exact departure and arrival locations, travel date, preferred time, passengers and luggage. RentJet uses your brief to seek options from independent, licensed operators. The operator must confirm aircraft suitability, landing arrangements, availability, price and terms before a flight can be booked.

Sometimes the difficult part of a journey is the last stretch: a site far from an airport, an appointment across the city or a return that needs to fit into the same day. A helicopter may be worth exploring, but the whole journey needs to work—not just the flight.

Start with the places you actually need to reach

Give us an address, recognised helipad or map location for each end of the trip. A city name helps start the conversation; an exact location helps the operator assess it. If you do not know a suitable boarding point, say so.

A destination photograph is not proof of a usable landing site. Space, access, surrounding obstacles, permissions and operational suitability all need checking by the appropriate parties.

Choose around your group, not a model name

Tell us the number of adults and children, luggage quantity and approximate bag sizes. Mention any assistance needed for boarding without sharing medical records. Passenger and baggage weights may be requested later through an agreed private process.

More seats do not automatically mean more usable payload for your journey. The operator assesses the actual aircraft, route, fuel and load together.

Business visits, personal transfers and special occasions

You can enquire about executive travel, a remote-site visit or a private transfer. For an event, share the venue address and the part of the programme the flight must fit around. An enquiry is an assessment request, not a promise that a venue or itinerary can be served.

For offshore crew transport or another specialist mission, identify that purpose at the start. A passenger transfer quote does not establish suitability for offshore, medical, filming or other specialist work.

Understand the proposal before you commit

Ask for the operating company, proposed helicopter, passenger configuration, total itinerary and full price. Confirm positioning, waiting, landing arrangements, ground transport and what happens if weather or your schedule changes.

RentJet is a charter brokerage and does not own or operate aircraft. Independent, licensed operators perform flights. Sending a request or receiving a proposal does not confirm a booking.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enquire without choosing a helicopter?

Yes. Your journey requirements are a better starting point than a model name. The operator confirms which aircraft, if any, can meet them.

Can I book immediately through this page?

No. This page saves an enquiry for review. Aircraft, operator, landing arrangements, availability, price and terms still require confirmation.

Does RentJet operate helicopter flights?

No. RentJet acts as a broker. Flights are performed by independent, licensed air operators.
